Wireless Real-Time 2D Plotter
Academic Work
2017
In a Design with Embedded Operating Systems course, I led the hardware design for a wireless ‘canvas’ and plotter system that translates and scales real-time movements on a handheld touchscreen to a 2D plotter. My partner and I utilized server-client architecture and remote procedure calls for the system of 2 Raspberry Pi’s: 1 connected to stepper motors controlling the 2D plotter and 1 outfitted with a touchscreen ‘canvas’.
